Jessie L. Brown

  Jessie Leo Brown, 75, of Plumtree Road, Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Friday, December 9, 2022.  Born in Trenton, NC, he was a son of Sylvester Brown Sr. and Ruth (Dove) Brown.  Jessie was a retired employee of Mestek Inc.  He was a member of New Beginnings Church Of God In Christ, where he was a former president of the Pastor’s Aid. 

  Jessie is survived by his wife, Cleo Brown-Martin of Springfield;  two sons, Jessie Brown-Martin and James Brown-Martin, both of Springfield;  two daughters, Veronica Moore and Deborah Moore, both of Dorchester, Massachusetts;  a step-son, Michael Martin of Springfield;  fourteen grandchildren;  ten great-grandchildren;  four great-great-grandchildren;  and a host of other relatives.

The calling hour is 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, December 27, at Whole Truth Temple Church Of God In Christ, 8 Norfolk Street, Springfield, MA, with funeral services at noon, followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
