Joyce A. Caldwell

Joyce Ann (Thompson) Caldwell, 63, of Colton St., passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Baystate Medical Center.  She was born in Albany, GA, the eldest child of Samuel L. Thompson and Corrine (Crapps) Davis.  Her family relocated to Springfield, MA when Joyce was an adolescent.  She graduated from area schools and had been employed as a Supervisor at Plastics Packaging.  Those who knew Joyce will recall how much she loved to dance and sing.  She will be sorely missed by her brothers, Jimmie Davis Jr. and James Davis;  her sisters, Mildred Hall and Sandra Davis;  her husband, Eddie Caldwell;  and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.  Sadly, she was pre-deceased by her parents and a sister, Linda Fay Ross.  Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, services were held privately.
