Julia Gaynor Obituary

  Julia Denise (Wright) Gaynor, 60, of Springfield, Massachusetts, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. 

  Born in Springfield she was a daughter of Lee Wright and Julia (Murphy) Wright.  Julia graduated from Springfield schools and dedicated her life to helping people which she thoroughly enjoyed.  She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for almost thirty years. 

  Pre-deceased by her parents, five brothers, Clyde Murphy Sr., Anthony Wright, James Wright, Steven Wright, and Sean Wright, and a niece, Lacisha Lanier, she is survived by  three children, Toccara Lowe, Porsha Collins, and Tay’von Strickland;  a brother, Perry Wright:  six grandchildren, Danasia Gaynor, Taylasia Gaynor, Tyana Collins-Lowe, Tra’mya Collins-Lowe, Trinity Caudle, and Isabella Strickland;  two great-grandchildren, Royalty Witherspoon and Zion Witherspoon;  four nieces, Porsha (Murphy) Ware, Terri Babineaux, Furaha Hazard, and Tamika Smith;  four nephews, Clyde Murphy Jr., Devon Murphy, Andrell Johnson, and Sean Richardson;  and many great-nieces and nephews, and other loved ones and friends. 

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 33 Oak Street, Springfield, MA, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
