Justina McCloud

Justina Ann (Nunnally) McCloud was called peacefully home on Sunday, October 24, 2021. 

Born on February 1,1949, in Springfield, Massachusetts. to Edith (Mills) and Siford Nunnally Sr., Justina was the eldest of their six children. 

Attending Commerce High school as a teen, Tina went on to work for numerous local companies before holding a career with Bay State Gas that spanned over 25 years.  With this drive and work ethic, it should be no surprise that retirement did not sit well with Tina, who then went on to open up her own business in Home Child Care.  For 10 years after retirement, Tina dedicated her life to caring and teaching children, all while maintaining the care for her elderly mother. 

Tina had a love for coffee, baked goods, and trips to the casino, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and hosting family events. 

Pre-deceased by a brother, Siford Nunnally Jr., Tina leaves behind her loving husband, Jimmie Lee McCloud and a son, Brandon McCloud (and Alisha) to cherish her memories.  She also leaves behind her parents, Edith and Siford Nunnally Sr., three brothers, Robert Nunnally, Paul Nunnally, and Mark Nunnally, a sister, Jerri-Lynn Myrick, two grandchildren, Nylah and Brandon McCloud Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

  The calling hour is 11 - 12  Friday, at The Christian Cathedral, 205 Eastern Avenue, Springfield, MA, followed by funeral services at Noon.
