Obituary

 Justine (Gray) Williams departed this life on Monday, December 20, 2021.  She was born in Ellaville, Georgia, a daughter of John Gray and Daisy Fields.  A sixty-year resident of Springfield, Justine had been a longtime receptionist at the Springfield School Department and was the owner of Justine Flowers.  Justine served as Deacon of Christ Presbyterian Church, was a life member of the NAACP, and was active with the Democratic Committee and several other organizations.  She also enjoyed sewing, crochet, and jewelry making. 

 Pre-deceased by her parents, two children, Derek Hall and Kimothy Yvette Jones, and all her siblings, George Morris Gray, Eddie Lee Gray, Minnie Jackson, and Robert Gray, she is survived by four children, Maria Burnadette Bruce and Rodney Craig Williams, both of Springfield, Margaret Gail Howard of Jacksonville, Florida, and Chris D. Williams of Bloomfield, Connecticut;  fourteen grandchildren;  and sixteen great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1597 Allen Street, Springfield.
