In loving memory of, Karen W. DeJesus, 54, of West Springfield, MA, we are saddened to announce her passing on Friday, April 3rd, 2020, in her home. Karen was survived by two sons, Felix Caballero, of Connecticut, and Nicholas Caballero (and his wife, Krista); a grandson, Giuliano Caballero, all of Florida; her mother, Carmen Bernard and step-father, Anastacio Rodriguez, of Chicopee, MA; her father, Temistocles DeJesus, of MA; a sister, Carmen; four brothers, Temistocles, Harry, Victor, and Junior; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Aristocles DeJesus. Karen was born in Puerto Rico and was raised in and around Springfield. She loved being the oldest sibling and often bragged about it. In the years before becoming a Mom, she was a CNA. She had a huge heart and nurturing soul. She took pride in raising her two favorite people, her sons, whom she loved, cherished, and was so very proud of. They were the light of her life. The one thing that Karen always wanted was to be a grandmother. Her dream finally came true when her grandson was born. Karen was happiest whenever she was with her family. She enjoyed taking walks and listening to music. Her favorite thing to do was to watch horror movies late at night while munching on sweets. She loved to clean, cook, and provide for her boys. Nothing made her happier than being able to make them happy. She loved being their Mom. And for the rest of our days she will forever be missed by us all. Love You Mom, Always an Forever!
Funeral services were held privately.
