Karen Mondon

Karen K. Mondon, 39, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed from this life Sept. 13, 2025, at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

  Born in Springfield, on January 9, 1986, she was the beloved daughter of the late Steven A. Mondon and Diane (White) Mondon.  Raised in Springfield, Karen was a graduate of the Putnam High School in Springfield, and later a graduate of the Springfield Technical Community College, earning her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration – Accounting.  She was employed as an Administrative Clerk at STCC for a short time and often volunteered throughout her children’s school.

  Karen leaves her adoring maternal grandmother, Alice V. (Roberts) White, her beloved sons, Davion N. Mondon and Kasage J. Mondon, her cherished daughter, Deonna D. Mondon, her caring brothers, Brandon McElya and Steven A. Mondon Jr., a devoted sister, Shekina T. Mondon, her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.

A calling hour will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Harrell Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11 am.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
