Obituary

  Karl Bernard Storey, 56, of Embury Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Heritage Hall West Nursing Home in Agawam, Massachusetts.  A lifelong Springfield resident, he had been employed as a food wholesale warehouse worker.  Karl enjoyed providing his DJ services. 

  Pre-deceased by his parents, Fred Storey Jr. and Rosa (Middleton) Storey, and a sister, Deborah Strickland, he is survived by his son, Darell McLean of Springfield;  his daughter, Valencia McLean of Gastonia, North Carolina;  his brother, Keith Storey of Springfield;  two sisters, Sandra Crump of Dallas, Texas and Zelda Strorey-Wright of Springfield;  a half-sister, Valerie Blackwell of Springfield;  two grandchildren, Latrelle McLean and Tamiya McLean;  his significant other, Wendy McLean of Springfield;  and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

 The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Friday, November 18 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 17 John Street, Springfield, MA, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
