Manuel A. Lopes

 Manuel August Lopes, 73, of Worthington St., departed this life on January 3, 2022. Born in New Bedford, MA, he was a Vietnam Era Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

 He had been employed as a school bus dispatcher for Springfield Schools. Mr. Lopes is survived by his wife, Candice (Early) Lopes; his parents, August Lopes and Elsie (Silva) Lopes; a son, Manuel Lopes; a sister, Marjean Rougier; two brothers, Rowan Lopes and Miguel Lopes; and two grandchildren, Manel Lopes and Makeilee Lopes.

The calling hour is 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 2.
