McJames Anderson, 70, of 61 Cooper Street, Agawam, MA, departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
Born in Springfield, on March 8, 1955, he was a son of MacPhail Beamon and Eula Mae (Kemp) Dykes. McJames had been employed as a tool welder at Danaher Co. and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
Pre-deceased by his parents and three sisters, Vivian Anderson, Lydia Whitney, and Diane Tyndale, he is survived by a daughter, Stacey Jordan; two brothers, Frank J. Anderson and Clarence Dykes Jr.; a sister, Cynthia Hoyte; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 23, at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
