Michael Willoughby

  Michael Willoughby, 71, of Cliftwood Street, Springfield, departed this life on Monday, January 21, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  Born in Springfield on August 31, 1950, he was a son of the late Henry Thomas Willoughby and the late Minnie Louise (Hughes) Willoughby.

  Michael had been employed by the Springfield School Department for many years.  He is survived by two children, Ayman Willoughby and Leella Willoughby;  three brothers, Henry T. Willoughby, Frank C. Willoughby, and Robert L. Willoughby;  two sisters, Gina Selin and Patricia Willoughby;  four grandchildren;  his former wife, Rebecca Willoughby;  and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Harrell Funeral Home.
