It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you that Pamela (Davis) White was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 12, 2020. Pamela was 58 years old, born October 5, 1961, in Springfield, MA where she was raised and began a lifelong love for Jesus Christ.
Pamela had a passion for teaching and ministry and was skilled in business administration. She earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from American International College and began a career in teaching. She married Willie White and they had two children (her girls) just before moving to Riverdale, GA in 1989. In Georgia, Pamela built a beautiful, beautiful life as a loving wife and mother while working as an administrative assistant, resume writer, tax preparer, grant researcher, teacher, advocate for the American Heart Society, and of course active leader in ministry. Just as her name means, Pamela was “sweet as honey" and loved to be a blessing in the life of anyone she encountered. She was known for serving her friends and family with her talent in business admin and even more for serving them in prayer and biblical teaching. She was very generous and often created moments to share thoughtful gifts of love. She would even give presents to guests of her own birthday and graduation celebration. In everything Pamela did she displayed the love of Jesus and she worshiped him with singing, speaking, and serving her whole life. In 2010 she returned to Springfield, MA where she continued her work for the Lord as an anointed minister and also pursued higher education. She earned two Masters of Science in Education (Special Education: Cross Categorical) and Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Even through battling thyroid cancer, breast cancer (twice), and congestive heart failure (due to chemotherapy) she let her life be her message and her message be her ministry. She certainly lived a life that will continue to minister to us all here as she rejoices above with our Heavenly Father.
Pamela is preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Davis Sr., and sister, Charlotte Davis- Haskins. She is survived by mother, Annie Lee Davis; daughters, Krystle White and Brittany Edens; son-in-law, Paul Edens; grandchildren: Jonathan Smith, Adrian Edens, and Luke Edens; two sisters: Annette Davis-Harris and Betty Cunningham; brother, John Wesley Davis Jr.; two uncles: Otis Howard and Robert Lee Hunt; aunt, Truvelia “True” Hunt; and several nieces and nephews: Stephanie Samuels, Tawni Jackson, Barry Davis, Chanavea Davis, Cora Davis, and John Davis III; as well as previous in laws, numerous cousins, and a host of dear friends.
