Rashad Taylor Obituary

Rashad Lamar Taylor of Genesee Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, was taken Home on June 26, 2022, in Springfield.  Rashad L. Taylor was born January 22,1981 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield to Orlando Taylor Sr. and Earlene V. (Morris) Taylor.

Rashad L. Taylor attended local schools, worshipped in Sunday School and Church throughout his life and believed in the Lord, Jesus Christ.  Rashad L. Taylor was a member of the Boys and Girls Club Family Center.  He played sports, loved football, basketball, and played football for 5A.

Rashad L. Taylor graduated high school, MCDI in 1998.  He worked at different jobs.  He was a PCA for Stravos and worked as an Assistant Manager with Gregory Detail Inc.

Rashad L. Taylor was a son who loved his mother.  He was often told by some he was a “Momma's Boy" so he would tell his Mom, "I am a Mommas Boy!".  He was a Brother who loved his Sister as she as well loved him so much.

Rashad L Taylor was a Great Uncle to his Nephews.  He loved them for they are an extension of his Brother, Orlando and Sister, Lan-nisha.  He was a Good Cousin and he loved All!  Memories are forever (Be careful what you say and print).

Rashad L. Taylor was also a Great Nephew.  Those who were in His life can now sit back and Reminance,  and I'm sure there are Wonderful Memories.

Rashad L Taylor was a Good Friend.  He didn't care if others didn't like you.  He would always have a comeback of what made that person Special.  (LOL)  Upon his death the number of people who gave heartful expressions of his character was astonding.  The adjectives, Respectful, Kind, Humble, Mannerable to name a few ... that's Rashad!  That's how He was raised.  That's who We Knew.

The best for last... Rashad Lamar Taylor was a Father who Loved his Children. Those who knew him witnessed the interaction between them.  He was a Proud Father.  He would go through great lengths to make sure they were Good.

Rashad L Taylor would walk his daughter to school, attend open houses and Graduations, spend Personal time and talk with her which will be Memorable when she needs it the Most.

Rashad L Taylor Jr. had his own personal relationship with his Dad for they resided together.  Rashad L. Taylor also visited his son's school as well. but not necessarily for Open House. (LOL)  But the love was still there, he only wanted Him to do the right thing!

Marquay has a special place in Rashad heart as well.  He was Proud of his Success.  He was there for his Graduation as well.  They had their own Personal, Special Relationship.
His Nephew, Jordan who he spent so much time with ... Playing ball, taking him to Barber shop and walking him to School, Just Being there! (That's UNCLE)  His Nephew, Yusef he loved.  He commented to me how Proud he was of him and that he Respected Him.

Rashad L. Taylor had some Challenges.  One thing I know and I Thank God he applied it ... When you Fall down you get back up and try again.  No Matter What Anybody says.  You keep trying... You keep Moving and Trying until you can't NO MORE!

Rashad L Taylor has LIVED. Rashad L. Taylor has LOVED, Rashad L. Taylor has been HURT. Rashad L Taylor has Experienced Every Human Emotion and then some! Rashad L. Taylor has come to the Peak....Experiencing Death!  His transition I PRAY was good. His mother was with him Caring for him Calmly. His sister, Lan-nisha came, proclaiming her Love for Her brother. The outpouring of Love at his Home following his death, Showing Solidarity and Respect to his Family was and still is appreciated.  Our family has experienced some horrible things.  As terrible and hurtful as this experience is... We stand on our faith... We will not falter.  In the Midst of this "STORM" we will be Composed.  We will Praise God!  I will pray for this young man who killed our Loved one..."for he knew not what he has done!"  Or the repercussions that Will befall him.

Rashad L. Taylor who has Experienced "LIFE" is now ready to "REST".  Peace and Love that passes ALL Understanding to You.  As your Mother, I PRAY for your safe journey.  You ARE fine.  We will be here to Endure and be Victorious.  Thank you Father for Allowing me to Hold and Love "YOUR " child.  Until we meet Again...
