Rev. Mark Hunter

  Rev. Mark Hunter was born on June 22, 1960, in Springfield, MA, a son of Ann Hunter-Wells and Louis F Hunter.  He departed this life on September 17, 2022. 

  Mark attended the former Technical High School.  He was passionate about food and was an awesome chef which led him to open a restaurant.  He was also a dynamic preacher.  Mark is survived by his father, Louis Hunter;  three children, Jermaine Hunter, Josiah Hunter, and Kezia Hunter;  his grandson, Jetson Hunter;  and seven siblings, Denise McNeil (and Lawrence), Dempsey Wells (and Mandy), Desiree Wells, Lauren Johnson, Yvette Renee Spence, Katrina Ward (and Ralph), and James Lewis.

  A memorial service for Mark will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 8, at The Christian Cathedral 205 Eastern Ave., Springfield MA.
