Robert Durley, 74, of Belmont Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life at home on September 10, 2021.
Born in Clayton, Louisiana, he was a son of the late James Durley and the late Classie (Martin) Durley. Robert was a 53-year resident of Springfield and had been employed as a Labor Forman by Adams and Ruxton Construction Company and by Witch Equipment Company.
He is survived by his wife, Sherryl V. Durley; four children, Robert Durley Jr., Anissa Manigault, Monica Durley-Emanuel, and Jeremy Robert Durley Sr.; three brothers, James Atkins, Alfred Atkins, and Daniel Atkins; five sisters, Ida Atkins-Harbour, Fannie Godbolt, Georgia Atkins, Marilyn Alexander, and Yvonne Atkins; twenty-one grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. The calling hour is noon Wednesday, at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 1pm.
