Robert Lewis "Bob" Little, 75, of 37 Suffolk Street, Springfield, MA, departed this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at his home.
Born in Cheraw, SC, on August 24, 1945, he was the son of the late McClendon Little Sr. and Leola C. (Patrick) Little.
Robert was a man with many talents. He was a chef, worked on cars, and drove commercial trucks and buses for many years. He was a family man who enjoyed cooking and showcasing his culinary skills at many family cookouts and other events with family and friends. He also had a passion for fishing and provided many family members with the rewards of his skills. He was also an avid New England Patriots’ fan, enjoyed his westerns, and taking naps.
Robert was full of life and enjoyed traveling with his late life partner, Barbara, and grandson Cameron. He was always smiling, cracking jokes, or pulling pranks. Most of all, he was always there to help in any way he could. He was our go-to man and father figure to many.
Robert is pre-deceased by five siblings, James H. Little, Wilbert T. Little, McClendon Little Jr., Hattie M. West, and Ethel L. Little; his life partner of over 25 years, Barbara Bassett.
