Ryan L. Jones

Ryan Lawrence Jones, 28, of Prospect Street, Chicopee, Massachusetts, departed this life on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Rockville General Hospital in Vernon, Connecticut.

Ryan was born in Hempstead, New York, a son of Randyl L. Jones Sr. and the late Tawnya T. (Pitts) Jones.

A 25-year resident of the Springfield area, he graduated from The Springfield Renaissance School and Fisher College. He worked for FedEx and Soughtafter Transportation, Inc. Ryan was a member Mt. Zion Baptist Church and enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball.

Pre-deceased by his mother, Ryan is survived by his father, Randyl L. Jones Sr. of Hempstead, New York; three brothers, Randyl L. Jones Jr. and Rodney L. Jones, both of Springfield, and Rondell L. Jones of St. Albans, New York; and a host of other family and friends. The calling hour is 9-10 a.m. Friday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 33 Oak Street, Springfield, MA, followed by the funeral service at 10. The funeral services will be live streamed from the church.
