Sadie B. Williams

Sadie Bell (Jacobs) Williams, 95, of Greenacre Square left her earthly home on Saturday, April3, 2021 when she answered her Master's call.  Born on December 19, 1925 in Sampson County, North Carolina, the daughter of James Daniel Jacobs and Luberter (Lane) Jacobs; she relocated with family to Springfield from Clinton, NC and worked at  Baystate Medical Center until retirement.  She was a member of  Gethsemane Church of Jesus Christ and brought several children and grandchildren to know the Lord there. Miss Sadie was preceded in death by siblings Lilly Capers, Kathlene McLamb, Frank Jacobs and Jack Jacobs as well as her beloved children Frankie Lee Williams, Ruby Jean Nicholson, Emma (Emery) Branch, Willie Williams Jr. and  Victor Lee williams.  She leaves to cherish her memories her children Vincent Lee Williams, Penny (and Roy) Allwood, Dessa (and Aaron) Pope, Ernestine (and Guy) Jones, Maggie Louise Chrishon, Charles Fryar (and Ethel) and Bobby Rae ( and Margaret) Williams.   There will be a "walk-thru" wake on Monday from 10 a.m. - noon at Gethsemane Church of Jesus Christ, 47 Harvey Street in Springfield, MA. Followed by a private funeral at noon with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
