Terry Trance Green Jr. passed away on March 18 in Seattle, Washington. He was a beloved fiancé, son, father, brother, and friend whose kindness, intelligence, and dedication touched the lives of many.
Born to Valerie F. Bowens and Terry Green Sr., Terry grew into a man of great talent and determination. He built a successful career as a geospatial networking engineer starting in Charleston South Carolina at the Verizon Call Center and with haste moved up to the T-Mobile headquarters in Bellevue Washington, where his expertise and hard work left a lasting impact.
Above all, Terry was a devoted father to his son, Julian Green, and a beautiful partner and fiancé to Tamia Whiteside whom he loved deeply. He is also survived by his sisters, Ayanna Gadsen, Claudia Green, and Sabria Green; his brothers Lakeem Green, Tyrell Green, and Daniel Green; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom will forever cherish the memories and bond they shared with him.
Terry’s presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him, and most importantly brought life to any room he stepped in and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Macedonia Church of God In Christ, 215 Tinkham Rd., Springfield, MA, followed by funeral services at 11.
