Tommy McNeal Williams Sr., 72, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at his home. He was born in Bastrop, (Morehouse Parrish) Louisiana, on June 3, 1951, a son of Jimmy Williams and Clara Lee (Price) Williams. He relocated to the Springfield area 55 years ago and was employed as a truck driver by Max Zeller Furs. Tommy was a known singer and harmonica player among his friends and family.
He is survived by his son, Tommy McNeal Williams Jr. of Springfield; a brother, Gregory O'Neil Price of Raleigh, North Carolina; five sisters, Clementine Thomas, Annie Mae Miller, Joyce Price, Gloria Miller, and Lola Price, all of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield. The procession will leave from Harrell Funeral Home at noon.
