Umeika LaCole (Eberhart) Bawuah, 46, of Chestnut Street, Springfield passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Born on August 4, 1977 in Springfield, MA, the beloved daughter of Barbara Eberhart and Frederick Richardson Sr., Umeika was a lifetime Springfield resident. She worked at various factories in Springfield the area as well as Florida. Umeika never lost her zest for life or desire to be with people. Her laughter was infectious. She loved to listen to Reggae music.
Predeceased by her father, Umeika is survived by her mother Barbara Eberhart of Springfield, brothers Marcus Eberhart and Anthony Eberhart (and Kenyada) of Springfield, Fred Richardson Jr., and Semaj Hunter and sisters Crystal Richardson and Tyaria Hunter of Conyers, GA, and her grandfather Albert Richardson of Ramer, Alabama. She was predeceased by grandparents Hassie and Will Eberhart Sr. and Ida Mae Richardson. She also leaves a special aunt Naomi S. Releford of Conyers, and a host of relatives, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
