On October 13th, 1950, Valerie Gloria Weeks was born as the First child of 8 children to Wilbert S. and Louisa F. Weeks. Born in the beautiful Isthmus of Panama, Republic of Panama in Central America. Valerie or "Val" as she was affectionately known, was witty, informational, detail oriented, spiritual incline and courageous. Val was the family "Go to" person to get information on legal advice, traveling and Spiritual guidance. She was always willing to assist in any facet of life to anyone who needed it. Valerie worked as a Data Entry Key Puncher, Personal Care aide and Direct Care aide in New York and Springfield MA. Val ended her labor of work in 2011, because of health issues.
One of Val's enjoyment of life, was that she loved to travel, especially to the Caribbean Islands and Panama. She was a strong will and vigorous person in spite of her illnesses. Although She will be in discomfort pain, she will push on and carry on. Valerie relied on her Beloved Mother and Siblings to make her laugh during the few weeks before her passing. Her family was her strength from day to day. On June 11th, 2020, God saw her journey was getting tedious to carry on, so He said to her "Come home my child and take your Rest".
Valerie leaves to cherish her memories; Her beloved Mother Louisa and 13 Siblings.
