Willie Edward McLeod, 71, of Sanderson Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born in Springfield, on April 12, 1952, a beloved son of Willie McLeod and Beulah S. (Griffin) McLeod. A lifelong resident of Springfield and a skilled auto repairman, Mr. McLeod worked here as an auto mechanic until his retirement. He expressed his creativity through drawing. Willie was also an avid reader. He is survived by two brothers, Calvin McLeod and Johnnie McLeod, both of Jacksonville, Forida; one sister, Janice McLeod of Springfield; a host of nieces including Neisha Rodriguez of West Springfield; several nephews; and a host of other relatives. He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Sally M. McLeod and Judy McLeod.
