Wilson Wright Obituary

Wilson Warren Wright, 70 of Springfield, Massachusetts entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  

Born on June 7, 1950 in Estill, South Carolina to the late Virginia Wallace and Marion Wright. 

Wilson was a long-time member of Alden Baptist Church. He  was a devoted son and hard worker, who began working at an early age to help provide for his family. Wilson enjoyed being  

surrounded by family, friends and good music. Family gatherings  were always important to Wilson, he was definitely the life of the  party. Wilson was a beloved brother who shared a special bond  with his sister, Janet. He affectionately referred to her as his  “second mom.” 

He was pre-deceased by his loving parents and older brother,  Charles Marshall. He is survived by two aunts, Ada Williams of  Nixville, South Carolina and special aunt Lottie M. Garvin of  Estill, South Carolina. He leaves to cherish his memories, six  siblings Ann Sutton of Jacksonville, Florida, Janet Disco (Robert)  of Springfield, Massachusetts, Harold Washington (Robin) of  Green Cove Springs, FL, Marion Wright of Estill, South Carolina,  Memphis Ritchens (Mervin) of Winston Salem, North Carolina  and Roy Fuller of Estill, South Carolina.  

Wilson will be greatly missed by his seventeen nieces and  nephews, a host of extended family and friends.
